HALDIRAM'S - Cookie Heaven Minis
The project carried an existing core system a teal backdrop, sunburst pattern, bold wordmark, and hero shot into a new bite-sized product range across multiple flavour variants, including coconut and chocochip. Each pack held onto the same visual backbone while allowing colour and callouts to shift by flavour.
A first task in precision, not creativity
Before any design execution began, the first assignment was deliberately small: correcting colour drift between design file and print proof, and fixing minor inconsistencies on existing Haldiram's packaging. It wasn't a design problem so much as a precision one — an early lesson in how much small technical accuracy matters before creative decisions even come into play.
Thinking and Process
That groundwork carried directly into the second phase: full design execution for the Cookie Heaven Minis range, taken from initial ideation through to final pack. Working within an established brand system meant every choice — colour, texture, callout placement — had to extend the existing language rather than reinvent it. It was less about generating something new and more about learning restraint: how a system holds together across variants, and how small adjustments in colour or texture change the way a pack reads on shelf.
What it taught
Coming early in the internship, this project set the tone for everything that followed — that packaging design is as much about precision and consistency as it is about ideation, and that working within someone else's system is its own kind of craft.
